Good Workday Since 1905

In addition to smart design, our products are the result of centuries of development and industrial workplace experience. Our history began in 1905, and we have refined our knowledge of ergonomic workplaces in various industrial environments since the 1970s. It’s no coincidence that we specialize in warehouses, workshops, and industrial workplaces.

A Part of Swedish Industrial History

It all began nearly 120 years ago when tinsmith Emil Johansson and his brothers started manufacturing milk pails, strainers, and pots. The brothers and their company, Gnosjö Bleck och Plåtslageri, did well. In the 1930s, in true Gnosjö spirit, they focused on innovations like steel cables for bicycle factories and metal sheets for industry. In the 1950s, fuel cans became the future, and in the 1960s, they found a new niche as a supplier of aluminum to the growing electrical industry.

More People Can Do More

The interaction between people and their work equipment – ergonomics – has been a natural part of our approach since the beginning. We’ve always worked closely with our customers, and with our background, we saw something that many wanted: a safe, ergonomic, and efficient workday in the industry. Our first own products were launched almost 50 years ago. Today, we have thousands of items in our range – from ESD workbenches to third-party certified pallet racks and electrically powered lifting columns.
