Setting up a workbench can seem complicated and difficult. Below are some tips to consider when assembling a workbench – all to ensure that your business gets the most optimal and efficient solution possible.
1. Choose the frame
Start by choosing the right frame. Do you need a frame that can compensate for uneven floors? Is a height-adjustable frame required so that more people can use the table in the most ergonomic way possible? Should the working height be adjusted manually or electrically? Do you instead need a fixed, sturdy table that can handle heavy tasks? How deep does the table need to be? Ask yourself these questions before continuing. Here you can found out table stands.
2. Choose the tabletop
What will be handled on the workbench? Corrosive liquids, sharp objects that can scratch easily, or tools and heavy impacts? What thickness is needed for the tabletop? We offer tabletops in high-pressure laminate, steel, oak, and vinyl. Our laminate has a solid wood core and high scratch resistance. It also has high resistance to liquids and chemicals. When using chemicals and strong liquids, choose a laminate top. Vinyl is an all-purpose top that works well for assembly tasks and for lighter handling. Vinyl is sensitive to various solvents, so keep that in mind. A steel tabletop is recommended for heavier workshop tasks, as the steel surface is hard and durable. The tabletop is easy to clean and not prone to scratches. The steel top has metal plating covering the front and back edges with a fold under the tabletop. Oak parquet is our most aesthetic tabletop, suitable for most applications. The front edge of the tabletop is made of anodized aluminum.
3. Choose accessories/equipment
What do you need to store near the workbench to make the workflow as efficient as possible? Do you need writing surfaces like a whiteboard or a computer? How many shelves and bins are needed for storage? Should extra storage in the form of a drawer unit under the table be considered? In the category of add-on details, you will find a variety of attachments for your workbench.
